This Friday 04/05/2018, in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, Protection International is participating in an event on the Protection of human rights defenders in Honduras, organised by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Honduras (OHCHR) and the Centre for Justice and International Law (CEJIL). Michel Forst, UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights defenders, who is currently on an official visit to Honduras, is also participating in the event to reflect on the situation in the country and the steps that should be taken to ensure the protection of human rights defenders. #PorQuienesNosDefienden

The event will also be an opportunity for PI and CEJIL to present their joint publication Es Tiempo Ya, políticas publicas eficaces para el derecho a defender los derechos humanos. #estiempoya which will soon be available in English in both its full and synthesised versions.
