Protection International is looking to create a pool of video editors, animators, and graphic designers for the creation of educational videos, visually appealing reports, and advocacy materials concerning the protection of human rights defenders and the right to defend human rights.

Protection International is seeking experienced creative professionals to help make our materials on protection for human rights defenders more appealing and easy to understand for a wide audience.Some materials will be created for human rights defenders themselves, some will be for political actors, others will be for civil society organisations. We aim to create a pool of trusted creative professionals to help us carry out our projects underway in 2021 which require additional expertise in visual design, multimedia storytelling and engaging explainer content.
Through this call for creatives, we will organise a database of applicants, which may be contacted for existing needs over the course of this year, or upcoming projects next year. Selected candidates may either be chosen for ad-hoc projects or a series of products, typically by way of a framework agreement that will be valid for a fixed period of time (likely 1-2 years). Both individual freelancers and companies shall be considered as potential candidates. Candidates that speak English, Spanish and French are highly preferred, as content needs to be created in all three languages.
